Breakout Creative wins tons of awards for its work. The problem is that even though you are a top creative shop, you need to get your work in front of the right people at Fortune 500 companies, and these people are not returning your calls. Breakout Creative asked VIA to create a program to help get its foot in the door.
Peak the interest of the potential client using a series of three mailers. Under the theme "To break through, first you gotta breakout", the mailers included tools to "breakout". First a metal file, followed by a hacksaw. The final breakout "tool" was a CD Rom which featured quick cuts of Breakout Creative's sample work cut to fast-paced techno type music (which was created in-house). To see more, you had to click on a link to Breakout Creative's website or set up an appointment.
Breakout Creative phone began ringing because the mailers produced a 50% success rate. Website traffic peaked. The campaign won local and national advertising awards. But most importantly, Breakout Creative landed a ton of new business. The website is maintained and hosted on VIA's servers.
