Search Engine Optimization

According to research, over 70% of all websites are found using the search engines. To make sure our clients get traffic from the search engines, VIA employs a system we call RADAR.

Report:

Using Urchin, we go into a site's log report to discover the who, what, when, where and why on your web site.

Analyze:

We study the reports to distill what they are telling us which includes benchmarking key statistics like number of visits, average visitor session length, keyword usage, search engine used, and sales path analysis.

Decide:

After studying what is happening, we can start making informed decisions on next steps. For example, if visitors are coming to the home page and immediately leaving indicates a poor job of merchandising. If they are dropping off and not calling the 800 number, then we need to add an incentive.

Act:

What's it going to be? Implement something new based on what we have learned and measure the progress.

Reaction:

Were we right? Did it work? What did we do wrong? What can we improve? By benchmarking the results and soon we will able to predict, forecast, and leverage each time we make an advancement.

Because the Web is always changing, what works today may not work tomorrow. This means that working with VIA, RADAR is an ongoing process.
